Default UK Zoos

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know of any zoos in the UK where they keep venomous snakes, i.e Gaboon Vipers, Mambas, boomslangs?

If not, I think I'm going to need to save the pennies and take a trip to one of the many zoo's in the USA that exhibit venomous snakes.

Thanks for any replies

I know west midlands safari park has a reptile section with some venemous snakes, cant remember what they have exactly, im sure they also have retics and condas.

But could be mixing them up with another place(Im sure ill get corrected if wrong)
Its a good family day out anyway

When i was there they had gaboons, some kind of cobra, some WDB rattlers and a huge king cobra, plus all the other stuff - african dwarf croc - loads of torts, a few lizards, two retics a huge green conda, and some missisipi corcs and an snapper turtle of some kind.

Haven't been to London Zoo, was looking on their website but didn't mention anything. Have you been recently, cause I might take a trip down there?

The last time I went to London zoo over 3 years ago, they had gaboon vipers, spitting cobras, green and black mambas, copper heads, horned sand vipers, puff adders and a few others which I can't remember. I'd say that it a fair amount of venomous snakes. They also had posion arrow frogs, gila monsters, beaded lizards which are also venomous. They definetely had other venomous snakes but I can't for the life of me remember the names.
