Interested to know what sizes you have experienced with keeping Corns.

What are the smallest and largest sizes you have experienced them? Im asking because I dont really want anything over 4'.

20 odd year old female corns she's nearly 6 foot she was wild caught all those years ago they were pretty massive back then i also have an 18 month old corn who's only 14 inches long if that shes a fair feeder so could well be a dwarf as you do sometimes get non genetic line bred dwarf snakes

Thanks, Paula, im liking the sound of dwarf snakes. Im not sure about this 6' business, I was hoping for more along the lines of 4' at most. Are males smaller?

6 foot sounds bigger than it actually is when you take into account that you can still handle a corn snake on one arm. Remember they are very slender.

my ghost corn who passed recently was 5 and half ft i have a snow corn who is almost a year old and still looks like a hatchling,2 other ghosts who are slightly younger than said snow and are double her size!
Normal at approx 3ft aged 3yrs, okeetee aged 3 around 3 ft, butter aged 2 around 3ft, and a female snow at 4 yrs old at 4 ft. they do vary in size.

I have several corns here I'd consider adults.

The largest, longest two of them are about four and a half feet long.
The smallest of them - who is also one of the youngest and may not have reached his full adult size - is about three feet long.

Do the five-foot ratsnakes in your other thread really look THAT big to you?

corn snakes dont tend to get very big, no mater how long the get they are always handlable...however a 6 foot corn is very rare,as long as you dont over feed in the first few years then that should keep the size down.
