Default look what i found in my local paper

i thought they only eaten snake in other countrys but look what i saw in my local paper Snakes alive! Python pie is on menu at Halifax restaurant - Halifax Today

i think its disgusting tell me what you think what we could do about it

gonna get slated but i dont think theres anything wrong with it snakes cow dog sheep cat chicken its all live animals meat is meat theres no difference what animal it is

im with you on that 1 , just because we keep them as pets it doesnt mean its wrong to eat them.

To be honest i kinda agree....if some dude cooked a persons pet snake then i would be all guns blazing but serving a dead humainly killed animal as food is not that bad i dont think.

its nothing worse than the farm animals we eat. plus its abit hypocritical if you let your snakes eat animals that have had to been humianly killed for them, but then complain when others do it to snakes.

cow, pig, lamb, sheep, chicken, goose, duck, 'roo, crocodile, rabbit... so why not snake?

i've eaten snake. didnt know it was snake at the time, but i ate it. i think i would try any food, except 'sentient' life, including cats who i think of as sentient (and before anyone starts about why are sentient animals any different i don't know, i just wouldn't) thing is, its about supply and demand, and catering (no pun intended) for diversity. There are a lot of non-uk nationals here now, and in some countries snake is eaten as regularly as 'farm' animals, or even instead of 'farm' animals, sometimes for religious reasons. I don't want to go opening a bucket of worms here with the race thing, but it happens. If you don't want it to happen here, then don't eat there, tell your friends/family not to eat there, no demand=no supply.
