Retics can be, they have more of a rep for being aggresive, hatcling carpets can be quite nippy and Tree pythons/Boa's can be aswell.
Having said that there are always exceptions to every rule and you can find corns(usually calm/passive snakes) that will strike at anything that moves.

I'd say an aggressive snake would be one that would strike at you for no given reason. Such as striking at glass when you walk by, or generally striking at you when being handled, not when foods involved etc. Of course small snakes will always feel your going to eat them etc. it's instinct so that needs to be considered, but with handling they usually tame down.

And if we're talking specifics;

Bloods and Carpets as youngsters but can be tamed with age handling
All snakes however can have a nasty streak

Maybe yours is

Mines a little (or not so little) Angel

Never hissed , struck or rattled at me , loves to be handled
and enjoys watching TV while laying across my shoulders.

But all that aside , I have heard they are normally grumpy buggers

Think a lot depends on the temprament of the individual snake. Saying that, I think Scrubs (amethistina) have a reputation for being a bit bitey. Still want some though!!
