How old do Royals/Ball pythons have to be to breed and what sort of weight?

Thanks Joe

dont know for sure but at least a couple of years old, and yep over 1200g for the female is what i thought, dont think the males size matters too much as long as they are horny!

i think the official line is 4 years old and over 1500g, but i heard that 1200g and a couple of years old for the female, at a bare minimum.

Males have been bred at 5 months..depends on the snake, some 4 year old females haven't reached the 1200g mark but have been successfully bred

yeh thats very true, i think its more to do with weight and size then age, because royals especially grow at very different rates. so a 2 yr old and a 4 yr old could be exactly the same size and weight.
