Default urgent incubator temps

Hi
we found that our snow female laid eggs yesterday after being with a male butter, we have a hoverbator but it is not set up can someone tell me what temp this should be as can`t find corn snake book at mo

You should aim at temps between 28c and 31c (82-88f). Temps over 33c will kill the eggs. Try not to get any big fluctuations in the temps.

thanks we incubated a cluch last year with success but could not remember any of the info I needed to repeat this
these eggs came as a bit of a shock as we had not seen any sign of mating otherwise we would have had the incubator already set up.
we have the eggs in their incubation box inside the viv with a lid on it
the temps inside box are reading 84 so hopefully will hold them until
hoverbator is set up later

Thats the ideal range for sure. I incubate mine (with a stat of course) at 85-86f and use a digital thermometer to accurately monitor the temps. DON'T rely on the setting on the thermostat!!!

ditto kirak.. the internal stat on them is sometimes a bit off.. i disconect mine, and plug the unit into a habistat pulse..

oh, and 29.5C or 85F is what i use as a temp.. takes about 58 days on that i find..

Ive just incubated my clutch of caramelxbutter at 84 and had a hatch date of 55 days.At 86 i usually get a hatch rate of 49-50 days
