Default Royal-Worms

Last night a strange noise was heard coming from my royals viv, went to investigate to discover a massive dump (biggest i have seen) only in this poo was worms!!!
Never had this problem before and i was under the impresion any parasites on/in the mouse would be killed from being frozen, what is the cure?

I am guessing a worming pill like that of a dog or cat but any info would be appericated.

Either go to your vet and get some Panacur which is probably the best bet or you can go to a shop and get some Beaphar but i'd rather use panacur from the vets myself.

How long have you had the royal?

Is it possible the snake came with internal parasites?

Funny this comes up, yesterday I had an Anaconda have a similar problem, here's a picture, only click if you want to see snake crap: http://i644.photobucket.com/albums/u...eple/feces.jpg

I've never seen this before and thought it must be worms, I've been told that it could be from the digested prey tho.

I might do a worming run just in case.

I have had her for a couple of years now and never had any problems so was just confused to how all of a sudden she got these parasites......as before i thought the freezing would have killed these.

oh and thanks guys will get her some Panacur or Beaphar.

Freezing doesn't kill much tbh freezing makes things lay dormant and would only work on External Parasites which are on substrate and if you froze the snake....erm that wouldn't end well...so panacur/beaphar is your way.
