If you really like the look of the snake then go for it.
Personally I wouldn't because they are essentially hybrids and for that money you could get yourself a very nice 'pure' corn or king

i agree with the above comment
but if you do go for them then make sure they are what your buying them aswell ..e.g. see parents

I think they're quite striking... but so is a pure Greybanded King.
I have a little Greyband girl, and I did idly wonder what an Alternacorn would look like... thank you for posting about this, since now I know what they're likely to look like I have absolutely no intent of breeding one  Doesn't improve on the parents enough to make it worth me doing it (unlike sinacorns which I DO think are nice.)
