Default snakes and copper

hi guys, bob the red tail boas getting a bit bored in his tank i want to give him something to climb on but its got to be small and strong. does anyone know of snakes reacting to copper pipe?

i don't know about copper reaction, but have you tried bamboo?? you can get thick poeces or thinner ones and bind them together, looks a bit more natural and its rather strong

Copper will oxidise in a humid environment, and I believe the oxidisation will be toxic, so I don't think it's worth the risk. As above, bamboo is probably stronger than copper and more aesthetically pleasing too.

Not sue why but I wouldn't use copper. Plastic pipe might be an option if you get free plumbing supplies.

As mentioned bamboo works well, or get some branches from the garden
