You slide it over the inside glass door, with the long bit on the outside so that when the other piece is slid on it it presses against the edge of the front glass door. I hope tha makes sence.

I slid it over the inside glass door (after removing the outside glass door), and it has like a turn screw thing to hold it in place (although it doesn't very well). Then I put the front glass on, but it wont slide as the long part of the lock stops it, when the key part is added it all seems secure, but does this mean the whole lock needs removing every time I go in there? if so that's fine just wondered.

The long part of the lock sticks out a little bit too much making the front glass door unable to move very well.

You slide it in and screw in place then slide lock on and its only the lock part you have to slide off to open the door they are an arse on at first I ended up removing mine you may have to bend it to secure it on the door before you put the lock on.

They generally dont secure themselves to the glass very well but when you slide the doors shut and attach the lock it tightens everything up. You are better off using rubber wedges if you can and there cheap as chips.

yer I know what u mean, it's getting caught between the glass and the outside glass won't slide.
if u look at the long bit there is a slight bend in it which u need to straighten out then it will work fine

I had that on 1 of my vivs a while back it's just because the gap in the 2 bits of glass isn't quite big enough for the lock

You should be able to bend it by hand

Just straighten it with pliers or grips......you won't break it.
Had to do the same with one of mine when I used thicker glass.....less gap between them
