Default chicken eater????

is a chicken eater snake aka a corn?

im confused...

whenever i google it...i just get corns...

No they arent check Cribo or Chicken Eater snake(Spilotes pullatus) with picture and description of the snake
In the terrarium it rarely gets tame and is very aggressive and bites without cause. When angered it puffs out its neck vertically and rattles its tail. - certainly no corn snake!

see...now thats what ive seen a pic of in this book...but when i googled it always came back as corns..

anyeway thanks for that xxx

I did read somewhere that Yellow Rat Snake is sometimes known as chicken snake (from it's habit of raiding poultry sheds), but since I know nothing I could easily be wrong.

Alot of the american rats are known as chicken snakes also, hence the probs using common names.

They are not very common, although there is a keeper who comes on here, Tiger ratsnake is another common name.
