hi, can anyone help me i have made a viv for my royal python and its dimentions are W 42" H 21" depth 19".
at present my royal is in an exo terra glass tank with a red heat bulb ive never used a thermostat as the temp in the exo terra is perfect with the bulb where it is situated. i want to know if the bulb will be ok for the vivarium ive made if i use it with a thermostat and also will the coolest end be hot enough by just using the bulb at the hot end? will drilled holes be ok for ventilation or should i use the plastic ones you can insert? thanks |

I would personaly use a ceramic with a guard around it, controlled by a pulse stat.
I picked up my 150w CHE on ebay for £12 and there is a guy on here in the equipment classifieds that is selling pulse stats for around £35.
