just a warning, salvia is pretty much unknown, side affects havent really been looked into, but im sure it has potentiol to cause certain spychosis on some people.

You can get it online, it is legal. look in the back of FHM or summat, they've always got those novelty adverts in the back

stats are more peace of mind. they make life easyer.
temp gun's are assential to me though.
i use stats but there not assential to me.

if your reptile room gets pretty hot then a stats nessecary.
racks are good statted!

Right, let me set up several faunariums or Really Useful Boxes (the photo is a plastic faunarium, not a glass tank) with different substrates, on top of one mat, and take photos of the temperatures in each. I'll give that a go when I get home and have a spare minute. I'll also try doing the same putting a pile of various substrates on top of a sheet of melamine-faced-chipboard on top of a heat mat.

I have not personally encountered issues with using woodchip in snake tubs, as long as some precautions are taken while feeding.
