That's not a slow worm, it's a huge anaconda. The photo's been taken from a helicopter 300ft up in the sky.

There was a wild life prog on the telly a couple of years ago that showed Slow worms just over two feet long living on one of the off shore islands.
They reckon that lack of predators has caused them to become a giant island race.
I just can't remember which island they were on
