Default In My Opinion................Again....

Ive been in here for a month now, and i did write a thread not long after starting in here about everyone falling out with each other etc blah, blah, blah; But either im going with the flow, dont notice it so much or this site has really turned around in the last month. Id like to think its the latter
Picked up lots of good advice and maybe given some too, but its made a difference to me.

Round of Applause for all, i think.

Anyone think the same?

I havnt noticed it so much recently either actually sometimes debates get a bit heated but thats healthy I recon as long as the insults dont start turning personal, it would be boring if we all agreed on everything

If there were no arguments it'd mean everyone had the same opinion about everything and that'd be seriously monotonous. As was said, things don't get pesonal which is good.

And the advice is top notch, nobody's really judgemental which is good and everyone chips in when they can

osome people are just wrapped a little too tight and they probibly get frustrated and bail! but there's nothing wrong with mixing things up a little. as was said, as long as it doesn't get personal. if everyone agreed the there would be no use for a forum. i like passionate people, even if i disagree with them. i've worked in a few pet shops and man! you should see how all the employees argue. and some people are too afraid to admit that they don't know everything. too into being an "expert". we're keeping herps, not trying to be reptile czars! i don't like EGO'S very much. i'm very comfortable in my own skin and i know for certain that i don't know everything. the minute i start thinking i know it all is when i need to get out of the hobby. i want us all to be equal here and allowed to have our own opinions. it's not a good forum if everyone has to carefully choose their words so as not to bruise someone's inflated ego.. sorry to go on just sharing!

I know I have learnt an awful lot from you guys since I joined. I also love some of the debates - it helps me to make my mind up about how I feel about the way to do things.

Hopefully I will continue to learn from everyone

i always thought that many of you would enjoy my herping experiences since all of you keep so many native reptiles. most everyone there it seems has corns and have never been in the habitat. how many have been sitting at there camp fire and saw a corn climbing a tree and went over and picked it up looked at it for a while and just let it go? it's a good experience. like no big deal...

I have learned loads since coming on here.,,,, even the conflicts help you learn as it allows you to see differing views... and there are as many views on here as there are people on the forum.

everyone will always disagree at some point with someone but as long as it doesnt get overly nasty... then its fine.
