Apparently Glen was quoted as saying:
"Pythons are just nasty. If he was bitten on the face where the tissue is soft a python's teeth can rip so badly he could have had hideous facial injuries. Their teeth grip into the prey so it can't escape. You can't pull back so humans get horrific injuries." As a senior reptile keeper with presumed experience, one would have hoped that he would have given a less sensationalist or damaging quote as that one, in relation to a tag from a 3 foot python. Better keep my distance from my coastals, in case I get hideous and horrific injuries next time I feed them. ![]()

At the bottom of the page:
A SCHOOLBOY was in a serious condition last night after being gunned down in a drive-by shooting. Obviously a less important story... Also: pythons "can grow up to 15 feet in length and have even been known to eat small humans in south-east Asia" This story makes me want to burn the Sun offices to the ground...
