Default white lipped tree viper

hey anybody hav these gd snake to own or bad???shud b picking one up this wkend pic wud b helpful thanx

I don't think they have licensing for DWA in Ireland. (Correct me if I'm wrong though...)

i was told didnt need it for this species just rattlers

idk about northern ireland, but i know southern ireland doesnt have DWA

they are a highly venomous often erratic species. i do not know about their captive husbandry so will be unable to advise on that front, but i would stay well away if you dont have experience with arboreal vipers, they are ok to work with, but experience is a must

i too do not know about the licencing laws in northern ireland but i assume it to be the same as the uk, in which case ALL front fanged snakes are on the DWA, this includes all vipers and elapids - of which the white lipped tree viper is of course included

I would imagine NI would have the same legislation as us? if that is the case you will def need a licence
