Default can you use flash

can you use flash when taking pictures of snakes ?????

i use a quick flash so doesnt affect them as it doesnt have chance too, but most people try to use lights in the room but its never affected any of our snakes hope this helps

Doesnt seem to bother my snakes.. But if your snake reacts badly to it then, stick to the usual, non flash

I also use a quick flash, it dosen't harm the snakes eyes so dont worry about it...

well i used flash and my royal shot back think it would have damaged him ?

think they do that as its like a shock, if u take a picture of a person it makes there eyes shut if not expecting it so i should so shooting back is a snakes version just dont do it too often i say

No, but he might have some purple dots for a while. What I tend to do before taking a flash photograph, is to shine a bright light on my snakes for a while to fully constrict the pupil and that way they are not getting a flash into a dilated pupil. Seems to work with mine.
