just checking
Hi everyone
Just a few questions to make sure my snake is ok as this is my 1st snake. She's a 06 hatchling and I purchased her in March, she is currently eating 3 pinkies a week as I tried her on the next size up and it was too big for her apparently, anyway she shed yesterday and she is currently 53cm, I was just wondering if I am under feeding her or anything?? Also she is still in her plastic viv, is she too big for that now? Thank you Jo

I think you'd need to provide Type, weight etc to get an accurate smmation.

sorry lol
 shes a creamsicle corn snake, dont know her weight as i dont have any scales at home, i would put a picture up but ive only got them on my phone and cant find the cable to upload them lol. last month i gave her a fuzzy and it took her a good 10 mins to get it down so someone told me to wait a while as it was prob too big for her. I hope this helps abit better thank you jo

correct me if i'm wrong but i would say a fuzzy would be ok for her now, mine was eating htem at , 6 months and he wasn't a big snake

Sounds like if he can get a fuzzy down thats what he should be eating. 3 pinkies will not have the same nutrional benefits as a fuzzy as the fizzy has more developed bones etc which your snake will need.

As long as he managed to get it down, it seems fine. I take it he didn't regurgetate it or anything? a small fuzz a week sounds like it'd be fine!

she didnt regurge or anything, she was fine, she just looked like she was struggling abit but it did go down. i will feed her a fuzzy next then and see how she goes. do you think that shes too long for her fanarium (sorry dont know how to spell) or is she still ok to live in there? thanks again for all your help jo

yes, you will be suprised what they can get down, as long as she keeps it down it should be fine!
