Default reptile room

how could i go about setting up a rep room in my garage as there is no windows and gets cold in winter any ideas
also if there in my garage i can get a lot more snakes which is great

dont need windows, i converted my shed which is a concrete building made on a proper foundation.

well you could get a plumber in to fit some central heating in there if u wanna go all out.

or u could insulate the crap out of it and get a room heater to keep the room at a constant temp.

i went for the second option.

obviously all vivs have got5 heat in them aswel

whats this garage like? is it metal or brick?

brick with a door that opens upwards and im renting so any changes i make need to be put back the way it was in begining at some point so like a rad in the garage i couldent do really

yer just insulate s much as you can then mate, polystyrene and expanding foam are good for this. Just cover the walls in sheets of poly and use expanding foam for the cracks an holes or what have you. then use a room heater, can get them cheap on ebay. There are some that are called greenhouse heaters that keep frost at bay so could be worth looking into that mate.

to be honest you just want it to be room temperature, i think in britain that averages between 20 - 25 degrees. this way it would be just like having them in your house. You could have it higher if you want but then it will cost you more money using the heater.
