Default todays litter
went in to check on my snakes this morning before work and found this mess seems to be a bad year for boas alot of people i have spoken too have been having slugs and doa's to be honest didnt even think this one was gravid as she has been loosing weight over the last month or so anyway 5 prem DOA and 18 slugs hope the next few litters are better than these se

yeah mum has now had a medium rat so should regain her weight over the next few months but have decided not to breed her again as she lost too much weight over the last month and not worth the stress for her as have plenty of other females

not good news, what makes them have slugs? I was reading somewhere its incorrect humidity or heat or something, or is it just one of those things?

to be honest this is the first littre i have been slug heavy last years litters had 1 or 2 in each litter. i did however take the male away early as didnt think she had taken so this litter could have been from retained sperm and slugs are infertile eggs
