this is about pythons that escape into the everglades. where i agree with you poor snake, it is nature and he who dares wins.

It is nature, but someone being ill is nature and u would still say poor person or poor wateva there name is.

yep, and that's what i did say, i don't like that one with the burm stuck on the electric fence, horrid way to go

yea that is a rock python, iv seen it befor, as for the incident they are becoming more and more frequent and it is quite disdurbing as i feel for the future of snake keeping, if people keep letting there snakes go.
i think it the age we live in people want to look good with big snakes then after a few months the novolty weres off and then the person wants to go out with his friends then the python is forgotton about and befor you know here he is the poor snake is let free and gone.
i definatly think something should be doen cos its ruiening the hobby for serious hobbyest....

florida 's miami airport is THE major entry point for herps. tons of herp dealers there. escapees also make up a large portion of non-native species there. just go herping around the miami airport. it's not just people letting them go. but on the up side, it does make for some great herping. ft. myers has established wild veiled chameleon colonies....how cool is that? go hiking and catch some veileds!!

and i do believe that that african rock on the wire was in africa.
