Default MTBs on BBC's Last Chance To See

The BBC have been running a series called Last Chance To See, in which Stephen Fry and zoologist Mark Carwardine travel to the far reaches in search of some of the most endangered species. They've covered the Amazon Manatee, the Northern White Rhino, the Aye-Aye, Komodo Dragon and most recently the Kakapo. If you haven't seen it, it's fascinating - go watch it on BBC's iPlayer.

Anyway, in episode 3 where they go to Madagascar in search of the weird Aye-Aye, they come across a few Green Phase Sanzinia (Madagascar Tree Boas). They don't identify them in the film, but it was nice to see them in their natural habitat (well, one was in its natural habitat, the other was brought along by a local on a stick), so I thought I'd share.

Some of them have quite big bumps on the back of their heads.

I think they're beautiful.
