LOl Bulls are great snakes total dustbins but are very noisy and adults do calm down very well but a large colubrid having a major puff can be a bit much if your new to bulls.
Starting with a hatchling is a good idea I find the Bino's one of the calmest. Gophers also come in the albino form and are smaller and calmer then Bulls so that's always an option ![]() Paula |

most bulls prefer a cooler temp of about 80f any warmer they get a bit tetchy ..so the shop could be keeping them warmer than needed .....babies are hissy things but do calm down and they tend to be all mouth and no trousers so to speak .....pm ian.g he keeps/breeds bulls and told me all i needed to know

Mines actually quite skittish. He is active but is easily stressed by handling. He also will only drop feed since i've had him. When I move him into his bigger viv in the next couple of months I hope to try doing a bit more work with him.
I've found he doesn't seem to really like being up in the air and is a lot calmer on a flat surface. He's also very very quick when he wants to be. He doesn't hiss much now but still tail rattles pretty much all the time. He's an ace snake though. |
