yes tried all those, also tried disguising the pinkie in a snakes shed skin but could only fit the skin over its head, wasnt big enough, didnt work anyway.
I want to get hold of a toad if I can, maybe I can keep it as a pet in a RUB in the garage in case of emergency

I could try persuading it to wee in a jar, ive never seen a frog have a wee lol. T-pets told me not to rub it with a pinkie as their skin is too delicate. She was shedding her skin today, (the frog) she seems to be doing that a lot lately but maybe thats becuase the pH in my tank has gone really low. Next time I'll try and catch her shedding before she eats it and put it on Lulu's pinkie. The things you have to do lol

Just had hold of the xenopus, it didnt wee but I ended up with a slimy hand so I rubbed the slime on the pinkie and offered it to Lulu. She looked vaguely interested but still didnt eat. I left her in a tub for a bit with it but she left it so ive put her little tub in the faunarium with her and let her out.

I got a het albino hognose on monday and it hadn't eaten in a while supposidly.. I first only offered it a plain pinkie but it wasn't impressed and then retried today but I noticed I had some mackerel in the freezer. just rubbed a pinkie on that and then offered and it took to it straight away! I'm not sure how mackerel compares to other fish but I think I've found a winning scent I'll be sure to use again.

best of luck with your hoggie!

Thanks, I tried cod roe today but that didnt work, i thought that stuff looks disgusting, might be what she likes lol, at least the cat ate it.
I'll give mackeral a go as well, i got a tin of that same time as the cod roe. Sand eels are supposed to work as well, I dont know if theres any difference really with the different fish? I've already tried lance fish.
