Default very silly question

heres a stupid question but when i get my kingsnake out he doesnt stop moving then all off a sudden he will stay still in the posistion he is in upside down, hanging, resting on side of me hand. but you move in front of him touch him move your hand nothin happens.

here the stupid part but i am blonde so i can get away with asking it can a snake have narcolpsy

Narcolepsy is where you involuntarily fall asleep all the time!

I don't think it's well documented in snakes though.

Some of my snakes do similar things. They are just taking in their surroundings.

Mine do it sometimes, they just freeze suddenly and take a few moments then go right back to behaving normally. Probably something just startled them.
