I think Royals will stil be popular as there is still so much more to be done with the morphs.
I reckon Hognose and carpets will be more popular and there will always be a special place for the true giants in everyones hearts. |

Corns will always be popular as they are very hardy, and a great starter species, both for keeping and for breeding. However, because of this, the market is vurtually saturated with them, and so the value will continue to drop. So although they may well remain popular, and available in virtually every colour imaginable, the issue is whether or not breeders will continue to produce them in large numbers. If they do, the value of the morphs will drop.
Royals will always be a popular species, and ecause of small clutch size, morphs are likely to retain their value for years. The one species emerging as popular is the hognose, especially with new morphs gradually appearing. |

I'm getting some Dwarf Retic morph and locale projects going before too long.. I anticipate that these will grow in popularity in the coming years because they are FANTASTIC!

Royals have many years to go before their popularity dwindles, in fact as some of the morph prices drop they are only going to gain in popularity.
Not sure that carpets popularity is going to change much TBH, unless their reputation for being snappy gts turned on its head. Dwarf boa morphs will be popular, more needs doing with this though. Gaz has produced some stunning dwarf hypos and sunglows, more needs doing with the T2 anery though. There will always be a specialst market for bigger/more exotic species, and there will always be a small number of specialst breeders. Sand boas seem to be gaining in popularity especially as more morphs become available. I am afriad that popularity always seems to be related to how many morphs there are for any given species. Partly because they are 'pretty' but also because people see morphs and see pound signs.
