I would have thought alot of the colorbrids (sp?) would be ok in RUBs. The kingsnakes and corns my mum has seem to do well in RUBs.

My BCI and 2 BRBs are doing really well in RUBs

If you look on the really useful box company website they do a huge variety of rubs in different shapes sizes and colours.

My setups are very basic at the moment with a bait box filled with moss ,newspaper as substrate, a water bowl, a branch and a paper tube as another hide in the BRB boxes. Going to PRAS tomorrow so I think I will definately get more stuff to jazz up there set ups with now they are settled and growing and feeding well. (they are only about 4 months old).

here is a sort of RUB pic, its for my adult RO corn, the water bowl has since been replaced with a slightly smaller round one and a piece of bark at far end to hide under but you get the idea x

I wonder if the company people know that RUBs are mostly used for our reps. I haven't seen them in a single office / home / workspace yet. They'd make a killing if they added vents to them.

I just poke holes in them with a soldering iron lol.

They are really good boxes, and are easy to keep clean as well.

I keep corns , kings ,royals , younger bci boas , KSB an RUBS all of them seem to thrive in RUBS plus i get loads more snakes in the limited space i have . RUBS are the way ahead . I too believe they would make a killing if they haad vents in them . But they do have front openeing RUBS .

The main advantages for me are price and weight - I have back/pelvis problems so cant lift anything heavy, and it's amazing how much easier a RUB is to clean out than a viv!

Thanks for the pic - very lovely corn you have there

Hi LisaLQ

Cool looking RUB, looks really well set up. What size is it?

Not sure in litres, it came with her, just took a tape measure to it - roughly 21" x 13" x 7" (it's an unbranded storage tub rather than a proper RUB, am planning on picking her up a bigger one from Argos in the long run).

This is valentine my PRB in her rub, she will soon be moving into a viv, once my male leo has done his time in quantine.

I made a post about my setup a while ago.

Things look a bit more like this nowadays.
