welcome to the world of royals, patience is a virtue, and you may need it.

out of our three royals only mine wont feed
she was just hitting the 900g mark and now shes not fed for about 5 weeks..
i offer her an item every two weeks now so fingers crossed she will eat her lrg weener before i get home tonight.. but as usual this morning she took a nice big intrest in her prey then nothing.. so i will leave her too it for the rest of today..
out of intrest is 100g weight loss in 5 or so weeks a lot?????..
cheers

I have had the same, 1yr and two months without a miss, and in the past month he has fed once. Don't mind, he can afford to fast as he fed enough for long enough.

If anything it means I can save some money on food, only offering every 3 weeks until he takes. My Carpets think it's great as they all get extra feeds

yeh it probably is a one off, but royals can be little sods with feeding. try not to offer more than once every 7-10 days, or you may put her off. good luck. royals only eat when they want to/need to, unfortunately.
