Default african rock python and reticulated python

hi im a newbie here im in a bit of a tight spot i really want a rock python and a reticulated python i only have room for one this is not my first snake i keep corns kings boas is there any one on here who has a lot of infomation about these that i can talk to or pint me in the dirrection of the best person to speak to. i have a bigcage 6 foot by 2 foot. which one do you think will be easier to handle ino rock pythons get 19ft and reticulated pythons get to 25ft so im leaning more towards the rock python

get a rock most definatly not enough room for a fully grown retic and arock are beutifull snakes

speak to ryan1987 he give me some good advice on simlar thing hes got loads of retics and arocks and annies he will point you in right direction

be carefull with your choice handling wise retic will be so much easier ,afrocks are very nervous and require alot more interaction ,chances are you are much much more likely to get tagged by an afrock but if you are up for a challenge get the rock but retics are alot easier handling wise due to being more slender and a whole lot calmer

i am leaning towards the reticulated i can make the cage bigger who can i speak to on here about these i have a lot of questions

get a dwarf retic. or a smaller, but still big island locality. i think buton islands look amazing and are smaller than mainland retics

to be fair, I doubt any retic you had would get over 20ft, it's pretty rare to see a retic over that size in captivity

a retic could be housed a 6x3x2 high

i got a 13ft retic in a 6x2x2 i keep most of my big retics in vivs tht size only reason is i have had problems befor moving big snakes into big vivs they get spooked and sometimes turn nasty, had and afrock aswell pretty nice snakes tbh if u get a decent one...

see retics look so nice..
