Beardies , Agamas , Water dragons , Iguanas etc all need uv
theres different Percentages required for different species though Eg a Bearded dragon will need a 10% uv bulb , yemen chameleons will need 5%.
look around on here for decent care sheets and it will show you all you need to know matey
hope this helped
ps try this threas in the lizard section

the uv lights have the percentages stated on the packaging
also keep the light UV and basking on for a maximum of 12 hours a day so whatever lizard you get will have a day and night cycle

As a general rule, you would expect nocturnal/crepuscular species to have a low UV requirement, and would probably get the D3 they need from other sources such as diet. The same would probably be true for burrowing/fossorial species, leaflitter species from forest floors etc.
