very lucky, when I put lucy the naughty escapee back in her viv, I must have looked mental, was wagging my finger at her and saying naughty girl, don't try to eat ruby, what has she ever done to you. Like she'd understand, or even care if she could!

god hun you were lucky i remeber when i lived at my nan's that my yearling corn escaped, problem was nan kept kings (calis and mexis) i was so scared that ty might of got into one of the kings viv's looking for heat

that is the problem with kings tho, even tho they aint dangerous to humans they are to rest of your collection and at time themsleves as i have heard of kings thing thier tails are another snake

What sort of lock have you got on your kingsnake viv?
Ive noticed some sliding glass metal locks wont let the glass completly shut and allows it to open about a qtr of an inch
Glad you caught the king though

Glad you caught the king though

one of those that screw on to the the glass then slide the lock along. BUT
to be frank and honest, the lock wasn't locked so it is not the locks fault if that makes sense!!

Well ed does have the jumper eater!! and i have seen male kings trying to get frisky with thier own tails but that you just have to laugh at it really is the snake version of a dog chasing its tail
