its easily done, all snakes have the opertunity to be snake eaters it doesnt matter if its a king or a boa.

dont worry yourself over what could have happen and think i didnt happen and you have learnt from your mistake

true, but still feel guilty! If she HAD ate ruby I don't know how I would have felt towards her in the future as Ruby is a very special snake to me cos I have bought her up from a non feeder.
Can't believe I was so stupid as to nearly find out

too right I have, never ever make that mistake again, very thankful that I still have all my snakes.

Hubby made me giggle last night, he said Imagine if she'd have tried to eat daphne, who is my evil lil corn, (viv defnsv monster, but so beautiful that I excuse it).
daphne would have probably kicked her ass up and down the street, NO one goes into daphnes viv uninvited, lol

you'd be suprised tho corns can be very viv defensive kings are more musclur to deal with thing like that, unless daphne is bigger then your king then it would be the other way around but as the royal is probably twice as thick as your king im sure they be ok

daphne is quite a bit bigger than lucy, and cleo is weighing in at 900grams compared to lucys 300-350 so reckon she'd be fine!
Only reason Ruby would have been at risk is that her viv has a weak corner top right, where the probe goes in. have re-secured it since.
Am 99% that if I was ever so brainless again then lucy would not be able to cause any harm

I don't like to talk about it......

Actually I once left the lid open on one of my mice colonies overnight.

They were all still there in the morning by some strange miracle! Or perhaps they just like their homes so much they don't want to leave!
