erm...after reading this, I popped down stairs, came back open, and id left Ludo's door wide open. Bless him sat outside his viv totally bewildered, scrambled back in as soon as I went to pick him up.

Actually I once left the lid open on one of my mice colonies overnight.

They were all still there in the morning by some strange miracle! Or perhaps they just like their homes so much they don't want to leave!
