Great video and cracking looking boas. All in gr8 health which is good to see. Very jealous of the whole setup. Can I ask what size vivs you use stacked for adults and where you get them from? They look perfect and my collection of boas is ever growing. Thanks.
Chris

Even though me and my partner have kept reptiles for many many years we have been keeping mainly boas for only 6 years all the ones seen on the video have been grown on from very young or born here. Quote:
our viv sizes vary ( as do the boas ) the larger boas get 6ft x 2 ft x 20 inches high if i remember right then there is 5 ft ones and then 4 ft vivs ( for the males and island boas) The vivs were designed and made by my other half but a very good friend of ours cut all the wood for us and edged it *you know who you are * |

![]() thank you and your welcome ![]() large boas dont use hides ( well most of mine dont anyway ) Trust me i have tried.. One of them (not seen in the vid as she is under paper mating ) is shyer and has a hide when not breeding. all the ones in the rack have a dark and and light end so i feel they dont need a hide ( i have tried this also ). I do have a yearling in a tub on top of the rack ( not seen in the video) she has a hide as she is exposed on all sides.. she will use it about half and half. If any of them went off there food and i thought it would help i would give them one. Everything in my collection is feeding well and healthy. There is no through traffic to bother them or anything they feel they have to hide from. once in a while a boa may feel it would like to go under ground and they very easly lift up the news paper to sleep under there but this is very rare here. ![]() thank you |
