HOw would I feel? I'd be totally enraged! That PM saying Lacey's buried under a lavendar bush is beyond sick when she could have sold her back to you. Your trust was betrayed. I do hope you get an explanation.

Oh Elle...I really am surprised by this!!!
I thought i knew Jenny too, and she always seems so passionate bout her animals. Just goes to show you that who you think people are on the internet, is often not who they are at all.

Glad you finally have some peace of mind, and know that Lacey is ok..as i remember the pics of her well.xx

Elle, I really don't know what to say, as wasn't going to bother replying in the first place as you have really gone too far!
I do not have to tell you about every single snake I buy or later decide to sell.
However, I do not want to be seen as a LIAR due to the missing information you do not have at hand, as you have not been in touch with me at all until late last night!

For everyone's information, and you Elle, I bought a second lavender cornsnake, with the similar zig zag pattern on her back, and I also know of another two here in Scotland that look identical to Lacey (one outside Aberdeen area, and one outside Glasgow, both also Serpenco imports). If you want, I will try and find a copy of the ScotAds I got her from... think it was January/early February this year I got her...not 100% sure, as never thought I would have had to keep this information.

Later, when I bought another snake that had RI, without my knowledge, it spread! This does not mean I do not house my snakes properly, nor that the person I got my snake from is a bad keeper. Instead of shouting it out loud, I tried to keep it quiet and resolve the issue. Sadly one snake died, and I thought that snake was Lacey! Therefore the PM to you.

You know where I live, you took Lacey here, and saw how she would be housed. You were happy then, and you're more than welcome to come again and dig up my garden for 'evidence' - I have NOTHING to hide!!!

I decided to sell on my corns, as felt they're were not my thing. This was in my mind before the RI arrived. Elle, I gave you first refusal for Lacey, at no point did you say - 2 weeks to raise the money. Do you really think I am such a shit that I wouldn't have waited? In fact, I waited longer than that as you had a big Vet bill to pay, and then when the snake died, I decided to shift the other one quick, as it had no signs of RI, and never had shown any either. Was kept separate etc etc... Mark bought it, £80 he paid. And you know I paid a lot more than that for Lacey, plus the petrol for you to deliver her. I did not buy her to sell her on for a profit, I am not daft! Although you have made me look like the arse of the centuary, which I am very dissapointed at, All you had to do is contact me and say you think I sold Lacey to Mark. I honestly thought he got the other one.

You're the one telling me off for selling her on, I don't blame you now as you thought she was dead, well so did I! You are however the one that let her go in the first place as she produced slugs for you, not worth keeping a snake that cannot produce offspring? I only wanted her as a pet, and that is what they both, Lacey and the other lavender were kept as, two happy wee girls in a 4 foot viv, with loads of branches, plants and hides... they were happy, but things outwith your control sometimes happen, and in my case it was RI. I was gutted, I lost my most beautiful snake! Of course I let you know, I was always in touch when it came to Lacey.

I am over the moon if you think the snake Mark got is Lacey and that she is all ok, and having a good life in her new home. Who wouldn't want that for their snake?
I still feel bad about the one that died, but she is buried in my garden, and she is still honoured with a lavender growing on her grave. As I said, you are more than welcome to have a look to see I am not a liar!

Just wish you would have been in touch to say as soon as you thought the snake Mark got was Lacey.... I would have wanted to know as well.

Any how, every one is entitled to their opinion about me, I am just very sad that only 1 single person has actually PM'd me to ask what the hell is going on. For that I am grateful. At least someone was willing to find out what actually happened.

Elle, why didn't you get in touch? You have my numbers...more than happy to have a talk rather than this, buit what ever you prefer. As I said, I have nothing to hide.

Jenny, stop digging yourself into a deeper hole. How could you not know which one of your snakes is dead?! Do you not know where you put them at night?

Having a second lavender corn snake that has the same aberrant markings in the same places as Lacey is just too coincidental, and I don't believe it for a second. Her markings were pretty uniquie, and I can match them up saddle for saddle in the pictures I have been sent. Come on Jenny....

In your for sale ad you state special female corn for sale. I think you missed out the point "lavender" because you knew I would see the ad and that you were selling her on, despite the fact I was waiting to buy her back. If you were intent on selling her on, that would have been fine! But you didn't need to lie about it...

You state you sold the "other" lavender because you just had one snake die from an illness. How irresponsible can you get! You never had a post mortem done on the "second lavender" therefore do not have any idea what really killed the "second lavender".

Things are just not matching up AT ALL...

If you genuinley were unsure of who had died Jenny, could you not have sent me pictures of the "remaining snake" so that I could identify her? If there was another lavender... I would have been able to tell if it was or wasn't lacey in a heartbeat.

What ever your reasons for misleading Elle, Jenny, how could you think of selling on a snake which had been sharing a viv with a snake that had just died of a suspected RI? Very irresponsible.
