Here are a few pictures of Lacey, to show her specific markings, particuarly the zig zags and frosting in the saddles. Not to mention her very pale silvery lilac colouration.

And here is the corn Jenny sold... Straight away I can match those saddles up perfectly!

We've had spider plants growing quite happily when we lived in The Campsies. Don't ask me how, I was too young to remember, but I wouldn't think it's the climate. I think they were in the bathroom, so it may have been the humidity helping them.

If the snake sold on was in fact not Lacey then the seller has knowingly sold a snake that has been housed with another that died from an RI. This in itself is worse than lying about the snakes death to the OP.

Unless of course there is a third or even fourth lavender corn that this girl has forgotten about.

Perhaps because she would rather shun the responsibility of a potentially sick snake onto someone else? Any responsible keeper would have kept the snake for observation and have it taken to a vet if there were any signs of an RI...

Elle, I think you've got her bang to rights there. It'd be interesting to see her response.

I knew it was Lacey the instant I saw that picture. Same size and build. She was always a chunky monkey. Plus she has a ridiculously small head for her length and width. She also has very unique head markings...

Mark has confirmed the pictures I sent him of Lacey in my care are the SAME SNAKE. Right down to the zig zags on her tail and 2 little lines on her head that almost look like a happy face lol.

Exactly, she's tripping over her own story here. Typical response to someone having been caught out and trying to save face, she is panicking and making up excuses without thinking them through properly.

I feel for you, I really do, at least Lacey has found a nice and hopefully permenant home.

People need to realise that any pet, even reps are a commitment. They aren't a novelty to be brought and sold on when something better catches the eye. If you buy something as a pet, you keep it as a pet, the only reasons for selling it on should be a change in personal circumstances which would prevent you from providing due care and attention to the animal.
Breeders are a bit different of course, animals are brought as an investment and are better off in new homes if they the rep dosn't fit into breeding plans.
That said everyone and his wife seems to be calling themselves a breeder now a-days......

Sounds more like someones jumped the gun a bit without knows the facts, and if the new owner new about the posible ri in jennys colection before bying the snake i dont see the problem.

Hope this all blows over for you soon jenny as i know what its like to be victim on these sort of forums.
