My response was written rather hasty as I was upset, therefore the incomplete time lines and the mix ups. Bottom line is that I DID have 2 lavenders. Will try and get some pic's of the two together.. should have some pic's left of all the corns I had.... somewhere.
Gave Mark the papers I found, never paid attention to what name was on them. Sorry Mark.
I have learned a big lesson from this whole experience in regards to the keeping of snakes, and yes I made mistakes but no one is perfect? We all have to start somewhere, and unfortunately I made mistakes in regards to housing them together for a while. Then they were in tubs, which I did not mark properly, therefore the other confusion. I'm sorry, but did not think to take photos to confirm exact patterns on them both. I mean, looking at the pic's now, I never knew of all the patterns various people have highlighted here.
I will however not try and 'justify' myself to some people on here, everyone is entitled to their opinion of me as I said before. I cannot change what has happened, and why should I post the post mortem on here? None of you are the judge or the jury!
Ellie, Mark paid £80 for her. Thought I added that in my first response as everyone said I only bought her to sell on for a profit. Can you now please be so kind and confirm what I paid you for her, plus the petrol money for the delivery?
At the time, I had many corns as a friend was meant to do some breeding, she had more experience than me, and she was the one that thought me things at the time. Certain personal things happened, meaning I had to sell on my corns, the initial feeling was to keep the lavender girls, as they are pretty special, such beautiful colours. However, things just went from bad to worse, and I got mixed up when the snake died.
Elle had sick snakes at the time too, which is why you were not able to buy her back when I first approached you. It was not 2 weeks as you said, it was longer, and in that time the one died. I cannot change this, and I am sorry to have mixed things up this badly, but it was never ever my intention. You make it out that I had some grand plan like a criminal when I bought her in the first place, this is simply not true!!
I cannot add more, as no matter what I say or do, the mistakes have been made. Just hope some people will realise that it was not on purpose. I was upset too.
Thank you to those of you that have believed in me, that is was a stupid mistake and know I would never do this intentionally. I don't mind being called a stupid cow, but do mind being called a selfish liar etc that some of you have called me on here, and none of you know me...

always ask for proof of death, body, vet report with photo, if a long distance ask for photos that clearly show that the snake is dead, a good shot is hanging limp over a washing line,

too many people on this forum seem to jump to conclusions after only seeing 1 side of a story... like lemmings, 1 jumps, the rest follow
i dont know you, but think people went OTT on this without knowing the FULL story
you've now put your side forward, admitted mistakes were made, and apologised (whether its accepted or not, who knows)...
i think its now a case off "lesson learned"

repeated name calling is bang out of order !!!

the thing is jenny u didn't tell me Lacey was in with a snake that had RI and u knew i was bringing it into a house with a lot of snakes ok u say she was clear of RI but u should have still told me to keep an eye on her and that she was in with a snake that died of RI and you didn't tell me she couldn't be bred with all u said was don't use her as a breeding machine

Jenny, if you can't tell two snakes apart, never keep them in the same viv! What if one gets sick or is doing runny poos or you find blood or whatever... how do you tell which is which? You would have to waste money and time taking them both to a vet and treating them BOTH.

Not to mention the fact you are completely disregarding any quarantine procedures that most keepers adhere to, in order to protect your existing collection. You put Lacey at risk, and look what happened...

Regardless of the fact you sold a snake to someone without telling him it was cohabited with another sick snake, the very fact is you told me Lacey was dead without proof. You also told me you did not have an autopsy done on "her" so you couldn't post post mortem results. So you don't KNOW why the other snake died, do you?

Now the responsibility lies with Mark... And because you never informed him of the fact I told you it may not be ok for Lacey to breed again due to her becoming egg bound. It was advise, which I presumed you were going to follow and I was happy with that. But you did not pass it on to Mark (because you apparently didn't know which snake was which) and now he has intention of breeding her.

Oh and I never once called you up for making a profit, I don't believe that. I don't know why you did what you did or for what reasons.

And thank you do much Mark for getting those shots. That is indeed Lacey Such a pretty gal, and she looks healthy and chunky. Thank you for taking care of her so well
