Im going anyway and i assume you can buy the membership on the door if it is mandatory like kidderminster?

BIG GRR!
I would ring them and check as I dont think you can they have had membership open all year to anyone wanting it where as kidderminster didnt have the facility to do membership beforehand so had to do it on the door as a way of getting around it. I would presume rightly or wrongly that a child under 16 could get in with a member adult as they cant buy anything anyway but again I would double check before making the trip.

you can only bring in multiple adults (2 i think) on a family membership..i think the same goes for children, they have to be on a family membership ticket too.

as long as you live at the same address you can have family membership, weather spouses, partners, brothers & sisters, and in your case
co-habiters,sorry but no on the day membership this was one of the main issues which has caused a problem in the wake of kidderminster, as i said if you have your consessions card from the last doncaster show that will gain you entrance,

once again all of us as a group (IHS WESTMIDLANDS BRANCH) can do is stick to the strict rules and guide lines that have been inforced on us by the events that have taken place localy this summer, the corner cutting may have seemed a good idea at the time, but it has proved costly in the long run.

I really hope this show goes well for the sake of the hobby. Good on you guys for continuing with it and making it happen despite the problems.

Being a member of the IHS doesn't just get you in to the shows it helps to fund the fight to keep the hobby alive. I for one happily paid out the membership fee even though there was only a few months to go.

Sadly I won't be able to make this show but I really wish you guys the best with it.

Cheers

Thanks for your support and kind words, we are once again fighting for survival and need support not negative comments, we all give a great deal of time to make things possible, but to have a show we need to abide by the rules laid down infront of us, but we will carry the fight for the hobby,

What are Antis?

Anyhows my partner and I are new to the hobby and have been very keen to mingle with other rep lovers and and breeders at these events, this being the first that we "could" attend. However within this climate, there is no where I am willing to folk out that kind of cash to admit her and I and then have to buy membership again in a few weeks time. So in some ways its actually pushed us out the event as "newbies" if you like.

Perhaps its because i dont understand this "antis" thing as i have no idea whats happend or what they are but surely there could have been a facility that anyone bougt membership for these last couple of weeks of the year could have it roll over to next years rather than try and get two lots of membership out of people. Kinda sad that is my first impression of this organisation and events.
