what are the differences between RUBS and tubs?

ive taken to lids off , cut holes in each side to fit vents in (same vents as wood viv) built a frame set the heat mats up with stats , checked all the temps were ok heypresto you have a stack that is solid for cheap cheap

for last few weeks theres been a sale at focus 32 litres and 64 litres rubs they seen to be the longer ones the bigger one is only about 6'' longer 2'' wider but twice as tall 32l at 3.99 and 64l at 7.49

I use tubs like the ones in the link for my rat rack, the plastic is much thinner than RUBs and they crack much easier.

RUBs are generaly used more than tubs for their durability and you can guarantee you can get the same style next time so all your tubs match as your collection grows.

There's no problem using normal tubs, its personal choice.

I chose RUBs as I think they're better.

markhill do u find rats chew through these tubs after a while or are they alright long term i have just put my rats in tubs like that so am still testing them

they haven't chewed through these ones yet.

I did have some different ones that had like bobbles moulded into the bottom that acted sort of like wheels and the rats chewed through them.

These ones have flat bottoms and they dont seem to be able to chew these.
