see people always talk about burms and retics ending up in rescue centres, but from personal experience i dont very often seem them for rehoming.

is it said they end up in rescue centres because people 'think'and 'presume' that is what happens??

would like to hear peoples actual experience with rescue burms??

to add to the thread, i know genetic gems breed burmese pythons.

thats what i was hoping for, people actually having first hand experience, instead of saying i have a mate whos uncle rescued a burmese 15 years ago.

would you say the burm and retic rescuing is out of proportion?? ie in comparison to corn snakes, leopard geckos, bearded dragons, ybs etc??

Yep and i have a 4 ft rescue burm. Total nutter when i first got him as he'd not been looked after and had been taunted for the majority of his life.
Now he's fairly good, very viv defensive but once out he's a little hissey still but soon calms down. Still need ya wits about you but give him a few more months he's going to be a really good snake. Stunning looking boy to.
