Exclamation redtail boa?

hi anyone, just a quick question, is there such boa as a
"anery red tail boa", bcus ive recently brought a boa n the bloke told me is was call a "anery red tail boa" but it as not got a red tail, its got salmon colouring down is face n so far down its sides, cheers if any1 cud help, shes 5ft long,

anery red tail? red tail boes refere to certain locality boas, and if its been breed with a anery BCI for the genetics then by definition its not a red tail boa.

Also a anery, which would remove the red pigment... cant be a red tail. lol wouldnt make sence. Would be like saying you had a black phased albino . is a contradiction.

some people call commons "redtails"
redtails are BCC commons BCI

from the description its neither a BCC or an Anery

Pics would verify though, if it were me I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.

Sorry to break it to you, but even without the pics I would bet money that it is just a common boa. Some stupid seller will refer to commons as red tails to make out that they are more expensive/ special than they really are.

Commons are great anyway though mate!

BCI were traditionaly called redtails, so its not nessecarily a 'stupid seller' just an old school term.

anerythristic HAS been referred to in the past as a "black albino" and amelanistic "red albino", just look through some old corn snake books but i get what you're saying, it is incorrect and does sound silly.
