royal viv heating question

Just got a new viv and am trying to get the heating right ive got a 60watt bulb at the basking end giving a basking temp of around 91/92 just cant get the cooler end up it is only sitting about 65 what would be the best way could i stick a 20/40 watt at the other end just to get the temp up to around 80 any ideas

I would not worry as much about the coldspot to be honest, the royal will thermoregulate just fine as long as you have good basking temps, I like to have royal basking temps a 35*c for the hotspot.

i just worried that the temp at the cooler end was not warm enough as you hear so many storys just panicking abit

It will be fine your royal may just be a bit more active when getting the temps right, Or you could put a heatmat down the cool end on a low temp on a stat.
