progress at last
since i aquired my jcp ive been bitten and constricted more times than i can remember. just been up to my rep room to do the water bowls and everytime i tried to do his he turned after my hand. in the end i gave up trying to avoid him and picked him up. he didnt even try to constrict or bite me
 he wasnt very relaxed either but considering that this time last week i took over 16 bites from trying to hold him i feel im finally getting somewhere ,im really pleased yippee

congrats! I love that feeling, one of my young boas would hiss constantly from the second I walked in the room and repeatedly strike at the side of the tub whenever I came close.... now I can pick her up and hold her for short periods of time without a single hiss or strike
she doesnt like it but at least shes getting better!hope he keeps up the good work!

thanks everyone,im so proud of him. ive been taking everyones advice and just opening viv door in the evening and stroking his middle and im now at the stage he tolerates it for about 20 seconds before trying to get away. as a lot of you know,when i first got him i couldnt even get the viv open without being attacked so im thrilled with him xx
