Default corn snake size

Im thinking of getting a baby cornsnake,i wondered at what age do reputable breeders sell them and what size should i expect at this age.Thanks

looks like its going to be your 1st snake ?
imo, an established yearling (2-2.5 feet) would suit you better, rather than a hatchling

Yep 1st snake,its just ive always brought my other reps from young.I take it there more difficult to rear from young ive read about feeding issues.

Not all cornsnakes are difficult to feed from young, I never had any probs when I got mine, and he was only about a month old I think, as long as you get the snake from someone who's fed it a few times, and its eating okay, you should be fine.

not at all...
but, if feeding issues did occur, you have more time to rectify the problem if the snake has more weight on it (ie: not a hatchling)
