I bought a pair of green albino burmese pythons from Mr Morphs in October and he told me his name was craig. Dealt with him by pm and text and was extremely quick in his responses whilst discussing the sale. As he stated he lives in South Shields and we live near Gateshead I offered to go to his house to collect the snakes. I was told that he was staying at a friends so would text me to let me know where he was.

No text at arranged time, I called and text him a number of times. Eventually he got back to me, I offered to go where he was but he said no he would come and meet us. I told him to meet me at a local reptile shop but he refused and said the owner would not be happy if he did so. I assured him I had already cleared it but he refused. At this time alarm bells should have been ringing but we wanted the snakes to arranged to meet else where. As we meet outside we only had the chance to quickly glance over the snakes and could see they had retained sheds.

I asked him why he was selling them and I was told he had spilt up with his girlfriend and that he was selling everything. He told us he had a GTP ( which he had offered to local reptile shops) and a rat snake and that was it. When I asked what he had been feeding them he told me medium mice. When we got them home and had a propar look there was no way they could take medium mice. Burmese pythons or not they were extremely small 09 hatchlings and medium mice was not going to happen.

Anyway allowed them to settle in both ate. Then male was in shed so refused, it refused again, then ate. Last date it ate was 5th november.

I need to mention at this point I had told someone who works in a local reptile shop that I had bought a pair of burms of Mr Morphs on this forum and he said to me you do know who he is don't you? I said no and I was told the he was jonnyboy/craig ford from here. Told him that ment nothing to me and he told me to search for the threads. Due to the death of my father and other personal issues this year I had not been on the forum when all that was happening so was quite shocked when I read what had been going on.

As there was very little weight loss at first be gave the non eating snake critical care and reptiboost and we just at the point where we were considering force feeding when the snake went rapidly down hill in the space of days.

He became lathargic, dehydrated. Hardly any tounge flicking and I noticed that about an inch above cloaca to bottom of tail was pink/reddish and it was not like this two days before hand, when I had him out. He was also really floppy when I lifted him out. Left him on sofa and no attempt made to move at all.

I made a vets appointment and also got advice from a member of this forum who I am extremely grateful too. I also contacted Mr Morphs using the telephone number he gave me and PM's on this forum asking for information on the background of the snakes. At the time the telephone number I had was being used on an online car advertisement with the name of jon. Mr Morphs told me he was called Craig.

I got a response to my PM when Mr Morphs came back on RFUK to advertise a pair of royals, an adult burm and bosc. These adds are still currently active. Mr Morphs told me these snakes were from Bob Clark.
I asked him when they were brought into the country as I need to know if they came in on the september shipment that other people have had problems with.

At this point he told me he had them for two months and bought them from someone called Mike. I along with another forum member already suspected Mr Morph was Jonnyboy/Craig Ford and I had been told he was by someone who works in a local pet shop. So I asked and I have PM confirming that Mr Morph IS jonnyboy begging me not to let people of the forum know. In the interests of finding out the true history of the snakes I bought I met his request and continued to ask him questions.

He is still maintaining that these snakes were not part of the september shipment, and were 100% healthy and feeding weekly for the two months he had them. Bob Clark shipped March, May, September and December this year.

I bought the snakes early October. The male weighed 69gms and the female weighed 136gm the day we got her and now weighs 256g being fed once every 7 days. I have repeatedly asked Mr Morphs to explain why the weight of these snakes was so low if they were indeed as he is saying early end of 2009 hatchlings. He has failed to give me an answer and just repeats both snakes feed every week in the two months he had them.

I have asked him what he got in the September shipment as per the thread below, and he has failed to answer me.

NOW please note this thread is not intended to start ANOTHER bob clark debate. I have mentioned my concern that these snakes may have been part of the September shipment because I am extremely worried about it, as no root cause has been discovered regarding other snakes which became ill on this shipment. As of yet I do not know for sure if these snakes did come in on that shipment but as Mr Morph is unable to prove otherwise and based on the weight they were when I got them, they either did or had not been fed regularly until I got them.

To date the female is still fine and eating like a pig, the male has perked up in the sense he is active and alert but will still not feeding, the snake has had vet appointments every three days since 8th of December and has now been referred to another vet.

Where do I start?

First of all, I know I did sell some snakes and yes I have got a terrible name for myself. I was accused of ripping people off left right and centre. Which I didnt. People have even accused me of owing them hundreds of pounds and ive never even heard of them before.

I did buy the snakes but they werent directly from Bob himself. I sold them on and actually LOST MONEY. I can't actually remember the price I sold you them for but I remember you haggling me down.

Both snakes ate, shed and poo'd fine for the 6 to 8 weeks I had them in my care. I didn't recieve any info on them when I bought them, and then sold them without any info, no feeding records etc.

I never said I am adamant that the snakes came into this country before september, please dont twist my words. I said that I had them around 2 months so I believe they came in the shipment before the one you are so worried about.

As for me "begging" and asking not to tell people, If you re look over the pm's you will see that I said "i couldnt care anymore" as i dont even keep reptiles anymore. I have a huge burm that isnt kept at my house and im selling other snakes on behalf of a friend.

People have this idea of me, that I bought a load of snakes and didn't feed them at all. Infact thats a load of bull shit. At first I bought a few royals for pets off Bob Clark then when I decided to sell one, I realised that yes, there is money in it. I then bought a few more with that money and sold them. WHO WOULDNT?? the snakes werent in any danger, they were being housed correctly, fed correctly and taken special care of. I did not rip anybody off!! I had some people complain that the snakes that I sold were underweight from the weight i had given before payment. I specifically told the people at the time that i didnt have scales but I would estimate each snakes weight. I have apologised for this.

The burms might not even be from Bob clark, at the end of the day I bought them from a bloke who said they were from Bob, if he is telling the truth I do not know.

You also said that I didn't tell you what I recieved in the september shipment, if you go back to you pm's, once again, you will see that I have told you, about 2 pm's ago.

I have asked you what you want done about it and you have not told me anything. I have been more than helpful and tried my hardest to answer any questions you have.

I bet theres LOADS of people on here selling snakes which were bought cheap and sold for a profit. It's a common thing.

No what you did is as soon as I posted this thread then answered the questions I had been asking over and over again. And you said you did not care any more after I PM's you a link about this thread.

You are lying one way or another, but one thing is for sure. If you did have those snakes for two months. I have noticed that you are now saying 6 to 8 weeks you DID NOT feed them every week. You just have to look at the weight gain the female has had whilst in my care.

I have repeatedly told you that I am not blaming you for the snake becoming ill. All I wanted was honest answers to the questions I put to you. There are no other ill snakes in my collection. All snakes are quarenteened. But you know what after your comments that only beginners keep records of when their snakes eat, shed and poo and I am not even going to start to explain my methods to you. Because you obviously do not have a clue.

What part of I do not care if you were buying snakes from Bob Clark then making a profit on them do you not understand. All I want is the truth about the back ground of the snakes I bought from you. Not vauge tales of oh I bought them from someone called Mike, but I don't have his number. And your repeated belief that those snakes were in 110% health when they both had retained sheds when I bought them. That is its self means they were not 100% never mind the extra 10% your claiming.

I was half way through my last PM when you sent me the link to this thread, I did not change any of my words. I've explained this in nearly every PM

I said that i had the snakes for AROUND 2 months. If you would like to work it out, 2 months is 8 WEEKS!!!

I am not lying at all. I have told you the absolute truth about these snakes. Just because you don't want to believe it is your problem.

One snake did have retained shed, but come on, a tiny little bit of shed down one side of it. LOADS of snakes dont have perfect sheds. It doesnt mean they were in any less of good health. I would like to see if ALL of your snakes have perfect sheds.
I dont even have to be here, I dont have an internet connection and I'm having to walk to my mothers about 6 miles away just to reply to your stupid and rude PM's.

As for the "vauge tales". I have explained I got a new phone for christmas, thats why i dont have his friggin number. I dont keep peoples number like that anyway.
