Default Corn breeding project for future breeding projects

This year and next year I am going to be breeding some corns for future breeding potential
This year I will be putting my female strawberry snow stripe to a caramel motley stripe (poss hypo too not sure tho)
Next year I will be putting a female caramel motley stripe to a male snow stripe
all 4 corns are not related.
This should give me
normal stripes het motley, amel, anery, caramel (and poss hypo from this years clutch)
normal motleys het stripe, amel, anery and caramel (and poss hypo from this years clutch)

future breeding of the offspring could give stripes and motleys and motley stripes in the following colours -
amel
anery
caramel
butter
snow
Xanthic/Caramel snow

I will be selling the stripes at £25 and motleys at £20 - if u buy one from me this year I will give a £5 discount on one of next years clutch. So you could get a non related pair for between £30 and £45.

If anyone is interested in this let me know or make a friendship request so it is easier to remember who is interested.

to the mods - if this should be in classifieds please move.
thanks
Andy

Sorry dude, there's hundred of corns available at any one time so no point putting a thread up until you have them available, feeding and ready to go.

Even then, selling them is likely to be a loooong process, I used to sell on average 1 a week, still had snows available 6 months after hatching so make sure you have several hundred pinkies on standby for a large clutch.

It was fun though, and I just about broke even on costs after the 2nd year of breeding and 70 plus sales.

Wow good effort, stripes must be in more demand, I just had tons of Snows and it took ages!!! I decided there was too much work involved breeding corns for the money you make on sales, and as I'd had the experience of breeding them decided to try working with other species - BRB's and hognoses hopefully soon.

yeah - I had 29 amels het anery, 12 anery stripes het hypomel and 6 snow stripes het hypomel - the snow stripes went like hot potatoes and still have people responding to the add - most of the amels went to shops - what with a few swaps and taking the prices of the swaps into consideration those 2 clutches brought in approx £875
got a few good swaps - one of each stripes for a sub adult brb and another stripe for an 07 crb.

Corns are an iffy thing at the moment, i can't decide whether to breed or not because i had to sell at stupid prices last year to sell and they're worth more but urgh, i enjoy them but do i want 30+ baby corns hanging about next year? Hmmmm

yeah I wish I had of got some of those caramels u had going cheap before they went
I think with corns it is the higher end morphs that are going to sell and your amels, anerys and snows are going to go for next to nothing. There are other ways of selling the corns that make it easier to shift - such as buying a bulk load of set ups and selling them with the set up at prices the shops will never do and selling them thru preloved and gumtree etc
