Default Water bowl location, location, location

Do snakes have any preference to where their water bowl is? My water bowl is located in the middle of the vivarium and I went to change it today and noticed it was quite warm and was wondering if snakes mind the temperature of their water?

For my snakes heated via mats and kept in rubs, i put the bowl at the opposite end of heat source otherwise they end up damp and full of condensation (which can be helpful but only during shedding periods).
For the ones heated via bulbs again i put away from any heat source, just incase of any electrical hiccups!

Agreed, the cooler end of your viv is the preffered location, unless you actually want higher humidity?

You don't want the water too warm either

Awesome thanks! I'll go move it now and put some fresh water in!

Snakes can use water source to cool themselves down so to have the water bowl in the cooler end is better.
