Great thread...also nice normal royals aswell.

I think this along with a BCI/BCC thread sticky is needed
Yeah, I was hoping it'd be helpful, everyone starts somewhere. As much as I know that occasionally we want to jump up and down hollering "its a sodding normal!!" it's not overly helpful so thought I try and put it across in a nice tone of voice. And thanks for the nice comment about my royals. They may be boring but I've been really painfully fussy about my three girls and am very very pleased with them! Especially the reduced patterned job who is a stroppy cow and actually *has* character...

I disagree on the money side of things, I have a pastel Royal which I acquired for much less than she is worth for a morph of her caliber. This was due to a breeder friend of mine concentrating on breeding his albino boas.

Sometimes people make mistakes, or there are other factors to consider eg. a quick sale, doing a favor to a friend, not knowing enough info about Royal Morphs etc etc.

Mine was sold to me as a pastel and I was never under any disillusion as to what she was from the moment I saw her.

Also, times are hard at the minute and alot of people are getting into the breeding game and flooding the market in areas, meaning what you may have considered a pricey snake a year ago you may pick up now for the price of a nice looking normal.

Ha ha I think the next person who posts asking 'is this a normal royal?' we should say OMG where did you get that its a blah blah blah and tell them its worth thousands.

Bumping this for the perusal of the two people that have posted "is my royal a normal" threads....

There is a lot of difference in a spider and a normal, spiders have white on the lower sides and are completely different colours
