Default OMG! Has it really been that long?!

When I sold my snakes I never thought I would be out of the hobby for as long as I have been! This is the old thread, long time ago eh?!

http://www.reptileforums.co.uk/snake...ease-look.html

Well, a lot has happened since then. I have changed jobs twice and moved house. However I am pleased to be able to say that I am finally in a position to get back into the hobby and start keeping snakes again!! YAY! I may even start breeding again.

One step at a time though, I need a viv - or two vivs! hehe! I'm thinking of sticking with one or two species this time rather than a bit of everything. I'm not decided yet but it is likely to be Burms or Boas (BCI) as these were always my fave. I will start with babies I think and grow them on for breeding in a few years time. I get the best of both worlds then being able to watch them grow and then possibly breed them.

Anyway, I just wanted to show my face really and to say that I will be back in the game soon! Hello to all that know me, and indeed the many that don't!

Jimmy.

Hi, thanks for the welcomes. I'm swaying more towards burms myself too but then I always did! Forgive me bladeblaster, did you change your username at some point? I don't recognise you (its been a long time though!)

Hiya, yeah - I've known a few people have to get rid for one reason or another and it makes sense to me now to concentrate on one or two species that I enjoy so that I can really get to grips with them and afford nice specimens, rather than having a bit of this and a bit of that. I just hope I manage to resist the urge to let my collection grow too big this time!
